Fall Festival

In September we hold our 13th Annual Fall Festival. Bring the entire family for a great afternoon of fun! Marc the DJ will spin your favorite tunes and play some games! Events will include:

Kids’ Garage Sale

Children (under 18) sign up for table space and have their own garage sale of items you no longer want; games, movies, toys, sporting goods, etc. The profit is yours!

The Magic of Gary Kantor

Enjoy a 45-minute fun & spectacular magic show! After the show Gary will stay, walk around and amaze you with more magic and sleight of hand! The magic show begins at 1:15 pm so don’t be late!

Pumpkin Painting

Bring your own pumpkin and receive help painting it.


Face painting, inflatables, baggo, pumpkin bocce ball games, cupcake decorating and spin art will all be a part of the festivities!

Mobile Room Escape | NEW!

Mobile Room Escape is Chicagoland’s traveling escape room adventure that pits you and your wits against the ultimate challenge…Survival. Your group has 30 minutes to solve a series of riddles, puzzles, clues, obstacles and challenges in order to free yourself from eminent danger. By working together you will save the world but beware as twists and turns lie around every corner. The theme for this year is an underground WWII submarine. Both children and adults can work together. Pizza will be served.

Day at the Park

For each Day at the Park, activities could include an arts project, time in the game room, games and music. If the weather is good, the playground may be used. Lunchtime will be at the Park, and we will serve cheese pizza and a drink for lunch. For SIP days at the school, the Park can will pick up the children at the school and bring them to the Park. No other transportation will be provided. Children must be picked up on time or an additional late fee of $3.00 for every 15 minutes per child will be charged.

Junior Day at the Park

For each “Junior Day at the Park,” we are looking for 3 to 5 year olds to join us for a morning of fun. We will serve cheese pizza and a drink for lunch. Activities could include an arts project, toys, play doh, puzzles, story time and games. If the weather is good, the playground may be used.

Halloween Costume Party | Rosemont Elementary

Santa's Mailbox

Santa and his helpers will personally read and answer all your children’s letters if received no later than December 12. Letters may also be dropped off at the Lange Park desk; we have a special mailbox for Santa’s letters. Santa’s mailbox will be out November 27. Holiday Candy Contest

It is the holiday season; time to guess how many pieces of candy can be squeezed into the jar! Come to the front desk at any of the park facilities, you only get one guess. A good guess will win all the candy in the jar for you!

Easter Egg Hunt | Rosemont School

Come join Peter Cottontail at the Rosemont School Gym for an afternoon of egg hunting. Please, all children must bring their own Easter basket or bag to carry the eggs they collect. The Egg hunt will be outdoors, weather permitting. Come early rather than late; we will start on time and everything moves very quickly. There will be lots of Easter eggs, prizes, and candy for all! We do not charge for this annual event. However, it is for Rosemont residents only. All the children will be able to pick some eggs first. Then we will turn everyone loose for the remaining eggs.

Teen Easter Egg Hunt | Lange Park

Lange Park, and it is your job to hunt them down in the dark with only a flashlight. Remember that you must be in the park building while the eggs are being hidden. Do not be late if you want to participate!
